The Year of a Better Beginning

New Year's Eve Message
 
Text: Ezekiel 36:11
......I will make you inhabited as in the former times and do better for you than at your beginnings....then you shall know that I an the Lord.

Introduction
As we start the count down to a New Year, time is racing in two dimensions - the new is rushing to be ushered in and the old is dragging wishing to stay and continue. God has created all things with time in mind....a time to be born and a time to die, a time plant and a time to harvest, a time to start and a time to finish......time. For every season and every time there is a designated beginning and a designated purpose. The end justifies the means.....if it is going well you don't change nothing you keep going and if it is not going well, you need to change something and each time you change your strategy, there is a new beginning.

In the text we have just read, The great thing that God did with Jerusalem, establishing it as the city of peace and the inhabiter of great men and great women, was interrupted by the invasion of the enemy. The city became desolate and the land was defiled. No good thing was found in her, the life in it was translated to death and the city of David that was booming with life and joy is now desolate and fully of sorrow and darkness.
But God has a plan in mind, and alway have a way to create a new beginning. In each time He creates a new beginning, there is an exceeding power of a better beginning. The promise of God to do better for Jerusalem than for her first beginning was an enormous promise that God has for you and I in this new year - 2011

It is a year of a New beginning and not just new but better beginning.

1. To start a fresh allows you to see a new plan
2. To start a fresh increases your chance of success and your chance of winning

When men start afresh, they lose time, when God start afresh, he gains time. He has the power to accelerate your time, wipe away every error, start you afresh with a new time. He puts the blessing ahead of you not behind you. He brings your losses to your front and not behind you. You start to work in a new light and a new life.

Let me share with you the 7 blessings of your new beginning - you have to claim them and embrace them

Isaiah 65: 17- 25
3. The former failure and losses will not be remembered but you will rejoice in you new beginning
4. The voice of weeping will no longer be found in you. The agony of failure and the weeping over your losses shall be no more.
5. You have a new beginning that will bring you into long life - the generational curse is over, you will not die young. Your dreams will not be aborted and the failing plan will come alive
6. The devourer is cursed because of you.....
7. You will not labor in vain, with your new beginning
8. You have a new line to heaven - before you dial heaven already answered...angels will be dispatched on your behalf
9. Now you are about to enter into a season where your enemies have no choice but to bow down and fall under your feet.......
I think you should shout and be ready for a new beginning ...

There are five things you must open your spiritual eyes to to recognize as you go through this great year of 2011.
10. Recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit
11. Recognize a God inspired idea
12. Recognize uncommon Mentor
13. Recognize the Enemy that God will use to promote you
14. Recognize the ground and the seed that will bring you a divine harvest

The year is here, get ready to pray:
15. Give thanks for the great hand of God that had kept you for a new beginning
16. I am leaving my failures behind - I am walking into a new life of Joy and victory
17. I am stepping into my New Jerusalem - the city of peace, joy coming to me, grace walking with me, power leading and light shinning on my way
18. My garment of shame is torn and I now have the garment of praise and glory
19. 2011 is my year of ..........

Let us go on our knees as we fall on our face before God, we will rise to the dawn of a new day never to fall again.............

Rise up and Shout........
